In April we held two service user consultation events.  We asked service users for feedback on the MainStay assessment and Service Information Sheets.

During these sessions service users were informed about MainStay and how it will impact them. They were given the opportunity to look at all sections of the MainStay assessment and voice their opinions on the questions within the assessment and whether they felt any changes were required.  Service users looked at the Service Information Sheets which will be used when service users are required to choose the service they would like to be referred to.

Following these events, changes have been made to both to include the suggestions and service user requirements. A section has been removed on the assessment after feedback that the section could be too intrusive. Service Users also highlighted areas that they would like to see included in the service Information Sheets including maps and additional accommodation pictures.
